Visual Studio 2008 - Monday July 30, 2007

Ok, I did a couple of things with Visual Studio 2008 today.

  • I rolled back my web config from a web folder/application project.  Once I did that, the app ran correctly under Visual Studio .NET 2005.
  • I went over a new blog post from the web tools team at:  http://blogs.msdn.com/webdevtools/archive/2007/07/30/using-vs-2008-to-target-asp-net-ajax-1-0.aspx  This post talks about how to update a web project which uses ajax 1.0 and how to get the app to load in both Visual Studio .NET 2005 and 2008.
  • After reading through the above post, I was able to get my web application up and going in both versions of VS.NET.  I seem to be able to go back and forth between the two now.  This is good.
